ANOTHER NOVELLI SCHEME EXPOSED
(TRAVEL AMERICA)
A Novelli representative from Travel America (TA) has been harassing
a former TAI member in New York demanding money. He claimed that
the New York targeted victim must send nearly $400 to wipe out
an alleged accumulation of "Past Dues". He said the
bankruptcy of Thousand Adventures of Ohio gave him the right to
collect dues from the NY victim.
None-the-less, the TA representative threatened to sue to collect
the money. He said that a money order was required in order to
satisfy his demand. He was, however, willing to accept a payment
by credit card if the intended victim would just give out his
credit card number…
What would YOU do?
Our hero was too wise for them. He refused to give out his credit
card number. He told them that he would be happy to see them in
court if that is what they want.
This New York person had never been a member of Thousand Adventures
of Ohio! The Ohio bankruptcy never had jurisdiction over him or
his defunct TAI contract; and the New York Attorney General had
previously voided any right of TAI to collect dues from New York
residents.
This scheme will be reported to the Ohio Attorney General, the
California Attorney General, the New York Attorney General, the
Federal Trade Commission, and any US Attorney that is interested.
