Timber Lodge RV Resort SCAM

We have several complaints about Timber Lodge attempting to convince members and former members that they MUST pay annual fees 'for the rest of their live!' or as an alternative, they can purchase a 'Lifetime Membership' to avoid annual fees.

Think about it...
If the member doesn't have a 'Lifetime Membership', why would they owe ANYTHING ?

This is just another scam to get their hand in your pocket - and it isn't to make you feel good either.

Complaints have been filed in Minnesota, California, Texas, etc. This company is rising to the attention of people who can do something about their deceptive and abusive tactics.

What if a 'Collection Agency' tries to get money from you?

• They have to PROVIDE WRITEN PROOF that you owe money to their client (Timber Lodge, for example).

• The agreement you had with Timber Lodge simply states that you cannot use their facilities if your annua fees are not current. Says NOTHING about paying until you and/or your children are dead!

• A 'Pre-litigation Officer' is just a Timber Lodge flunky. NOT AN ATTORNEY.
  It's his job to try to bluff (extort?) money from you.

• Monterey Collection Agency (California) is, in our opinion, a willing and knowing agent of people they know to be abusive scam artists.

Don't let them intimidate you.
