we neglect our friends, and the little things that friendships entail.
These things are precious, as are our friends.
They are forever. Don't let them go !!!!

THE ANYWAY RULES

  1. Some people are illogical, unreasonable, and self centered. Love and trust them anyway.
  2. If you do good, some people will accuse you of having selfish, ulterior motives. Do good anyway.
  3. If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
  4. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
  5. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable. Be honest and frank anyway.
  6. The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds. Think big anyway.
  7. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.
  8. People really need help but may attack you if you do help them. Help them anyway.
  9. Give the world the best you have.... anyway

Make a Difference

The world changes every day because "each of us",
shimwithout our consent,
shimshimhave made a difference.
When we look back on our lives in quiet reflection we will find that
shimeach breath,
shimshimeach quiet footstep,
shimshimshimeach word
shimshimshimshimin anger, jest, or compassion
shimhas made a difference,

We smiled in a way that encouraged someone in distress;
We told someone what we thought was right, or wrong
shimat a time when they were searching for answers;
We praised a young mother for nurturing her children;
We defended someone who needed our help more than we knew;
We expressed our disapproval by keeping silent
shimwhen someone wanted support for an unworthy cause;
We prayed with someone who was lost;
We found strength in our faith
shimand therein set an example
shimshimfor someone who needed more strength than we could give.

Each thing we do changes the world in irreversible ways.
shimIt is somehow different
shimshimbecause of US!

We can't wait for someone else to do what must be done...
shimOUR changes count;
shimshim We can make them help a cause greater than ourselves;

We can make it a "Better World"
shimBecause YOU and I have made a difference.
