THE CLAIM TO THE BOATS SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN ABANDONED BY THE IOWA TRUSTEE
DUE TO SOME KIND OF MARITIME LAW THAT PROTECTS THE
THIRD PARTY THAT MADE "IMPROVEMENTS" TO THEM.

Here is a picture of the "Icelander", a 78 foot long ship that displaces 88 tons of sea water. The 'Living Legend' is moored nearby. I understand that the people who run the marina in Florida where these two boats are located, have been besieged by "Interested prospective buyers in shorts and Panama shirts." Older people - I understand. Our folks have guts. Dan H.

The Icelander was the "Hotel and Office" for Mr. Vopnford while he was in Florida. He was the only one who used it.

Some of us remember catching the dickens in Florida because we ran our air conditioners too much. I'm sure that Mr. Vopnford had the air conditioner turned off in his "Florida Office" at the time.

The "Living Legend" is moored nearby. If you want to make a bid on either of these boats - the Iowa Trustee would like to hear from you. Send us a note and we will forward it to him.
